Fort Miami Players Selected to Compete at USA South CAN-AM Series

Fort Miami Women’s Rugby had three of its players—Morgan Freeman, Morgan Walker, and Essence Bell chosen to represent USA South at the USA South Classic CAN-AM Series. USA South won 35-27 over Canada in a fiercely competitive match. 

Fort Miami captain and veteran player Morgan Freeman played at outside center, scoring two tries to help secure USA South’s victory. Her outstanding performance earned her the MVP of the match award. Morgan Walker, playing at flanker, received the Best Forward award for her performance on the pitch. Essence Bell, played at the prop position and her physicality and endurance were on full display throughout the match. 

Fort Miami is proud of these outstanding athletes for their dedication and exceptional performances at the USA South Classic CAN-AM Series. We are incredibly proud to see our players earn the opportunity to compete at a higher level and represent Fort Miami beyond Florida.
