Fort Miami Rolls Past Orlando with 31-19 Victory at Home

Fort Miami secured another strong victory with a 31-19 win over Orlando Women’s Rugby. The team displayed impressive teamwork and resilience to come out on top in a hard-fought match.

Captain Sydnee Meriwether led the way with two tries, setting the tone for Fort Miami’s attack. Audrey Moore, Vanessa Plasencia, and Alexandria Diaz each contributed a try, adding to the team’s dominant offensive performance. Jill Brown played a crucial role in securing the win, making three conversions and adding important points to the scoreboard.

Recognizing outstanding individual performances, Grace Freeman was named Back of the Match, while Samantha Bickman earned Forward of the Match. Additionally, Vanessa Plasencia was awarded Rookie of the Match, and Jill Brown was recognized as MVP of the Match.

Fort Miami continues to build momentum this season with another solid performance. The team looks ahead to their next game March 15th where they will be traveling to Orlando!
